How this video was made

This video was made using Camtasia, a screen capture tool that lets users film themselves and their computer screen simultaneously. The presentation on the left side of the screen was first created in PowerPoint and recorded by Camtasia as the instructor was presenting. Camtasia uses either a computer’s built-in webcam or an external webcam (as was the case in the example video). For the example video the instructor used a tablet and stylus to annotate the slides. After recording, simple edits can be made using Camtasia’s novice-friendly editing tool.
