Apply to Join the Collaborative Project Courses Faculty Fellowship

Are you planning a course where students learn by collaboratively working on semester-long projects? Meet and work with others designing similar courses by participating in the Collaborative Project Courses Faculty Fellows Program (apply by Feb 14). Fellows will receive up to $5000 for participating. This program extends from May through December 2022 and is currently planned to include a combination of in person and online meetings. Join our friendly, helpful community and build on great, tested ideas for maximizing student learning and engagement.

Our previous program included eighteen participants designing courses. These courses ranged from a first year writing course to a capstone course and courses across Duke’s professional schools. In one collaborative project course, students worked together to examine archival materials and oral histories on the history of Latinx activism at Duke and then created an exhibit currently on display at Duke Library.

Bring your course ideas, work with other faculty and design a rewarding collaborative course with us. The Bass Connections site has information and an application. Join us! Applications accepted until February 14.
