The 2016 CIT Showcase will be held on Tuesday, October 11th from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM at the Durham Convention Center. The Convention Center is an open, inviting space right in the heart of downtown Durham. Free parking right across the street will make attending the Showcase easier than ever.
The theme of this year’s conference is Engaging Today’s Student. Sessions will focus on ideas, projects, and technologies that can be implemented in teaching. Talks can range from a five-minute ignite session to a thirty-minute workshop. Proposals will be accepted through September 12.
Our keynote speaker is Randy Bass, the Vice Provost for Education and Professor of English at Georgetown University. There he leads the Designing the Future(s) initiative, which undertakes projects aimed at curricular transformation.
