Call for Proposals: Innovative Online Education Projects

The Provost and the Academic Committee on Online Education seek proposals for online courses or online curriculum projects that are highly innovative and will contribute to Duke’s goals for online education initiatives.

We anticipate supporting 3 to 4 projects, with development beginning in January 2014 and teaching of the new courses beginning in either Summer 2014 or Fall 2014. Projects may be delivered using Coursera or other Duke-supported online tools such as Sakai, iTunesU, WordPress, or WebEx.

Detailed information about criteria for project selection and the application process are at https://online.duke.edu/proposals/fall-2013/.

Preliminary proposals are due Nov. 22, 2013. Final proposals are due January 9, 2014, and selections will be announced by January 20, 2014.
