Team-based learning course design – A CIT Fellowship opportunity

The Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) is offering a Faculty Fellowship program to support faculty who plan to teach using team-based learning (TBL) in the coming academic year. During the Fellowship, which runs from May to December 2012, participants will work together to design effective assessments for their courses, create student teams, design appropriate application exercises, and select effective methods of peer-evaluation and grading. Faculty experienced with TBL will meet with participants to share their experiences.

Participants who successfully complete the program receive $1,000 paid to a Duke discretionary or research account.

This fellowship program is for faculty and their teaching assistants who plan to teach a course using team-based learning (TBL) in the coming academic year. The deadline for applications is May 18, 2012.  Find out more about the program or apply on the fellowship webpage.
