Teaching Research with Writing Fellowship – Application Deadline Extended

The Center for Instructional Technology and the Thompson Writing Program are jointly offering a semester-long Faculty Fellowship program, providing support for faculty interested in developing and evaluating new approaches to teaching research and writing.

Applications are now being accepted for the Fellowship program and the application deadline has been extended to November 15.

The Fellowship is targeted at teaching faculty in academic departments who teach “R” courses during 2011 and graduate students can apply independently or with a faculty member.  Faculty that complete the program are eligible for a $1,000 stipend paid to a Duke discretionary/research account; graduate student participants will receive $500.

More details and an application can be found on the CIT’s web page about the Teaching Research with Writing Fellowship.
