Earn $1,000 in Patient Education Video Competition

Innovative Nursing Education Technologies (iNET), a 3-year federally funded project, a collaborative effort among Duke University, Western Carolina University and University of North Carolina-Charlotte, is looking for teams (one member must be a student) to create Patient Education Videos. Selecting one of the provided topics, students will create a short (10 minutes or less) video. The top three winning teams will be awarded $1,000 and showcased at the iNET 2010 conference*. The competition is open now through April 15, 2010.

* iNET 2010 conference – “Enhancing Nursing Curriculum with Technology: High Touch, High Tech” will be held at University of North Carolina Charlotte, Friday, August 6, 2010.

iNet is now accepting abstracts for the conference. If you are interested in giving a podium or poster presentation, please consider submitting an abstract. The deadline is April 15, 2010.
