Sarah “Intellagirl” Robins, who was the keynote speaker for the CIT showcase last year, just posted a fairly extensive list of virtual worlds that compares them on a number of facets. The spreadsheet was part of her dissertation research and may be useful if you are interested in finding out about the current range of virtual worlds and how they vary.
