Sites@Duke

Sites@Duke is Duke’s WordPress service, providing faculty, staff and students a way to quickly create and publish blogs and websites. CIT supports faculty uses of Sites@Duke for teaching and learning activities. Since 2010, members of the Duke community have created 8,749 active blogs.

Over the past year, Duke faculty members created 186 course sites (-29% decrease from last year) on Sites@Duke. Students can also create mini-sites (called ‘subsites’) that branch off of a main course site. This year, Duke students and faculty created another 613 sub-sites (-7% decrease from last year).
