CIT collaborates with the Office of Information Technology, Arts and Sciences and others to explore and integrate academic tools into Duke’s Learning Technology ecosystem to meet the full range of Duke’s teaching and learning needs.
In 2015–2016, CIT supported Learning Technology at Duke by:
- managing and supporting Duke’s learning management system (Sakai)
- supporting other enterprise learning technologies (Sites@Duke, Warpwire)
- exploring new learning technologies and their effective pedagogical applications
- providing faculty opportunities to explore new or experimental technologies
